Gill Foundation the nation’s most powerful force for LGBTQ rights* undertook a rebrand at a critical time in its history. Having evolved into a nondiscrimination powerhouse — by design of founder, Tim Gill — its public face needed to reflect the growing scope and activist stance of its mission. Working closely with legendary AIDS activist/then Gill Executive Director, Rodger McFarlane, as well as Arthur Korant and Stephanie Blackwood of NYC’s LGBTQ-championing Double Platinum, I helped reframe the foundation, writing website and print copy on its past successes and future goals; personal statements for Tim and Rodger; and a quartet of as-told-to stories illustrating the organization’s crucial role in the ongoing fight for equality.
